A very quick update

E' volata una intera settimana senza che quasi me ne rendessi conto!! E' stata impegnativa e mi aspetta un mese ancora più complicato, ma alla fine, dopo tanti mesi un po' vuoti, finalmente sono di nuovo piena di energia per fare tante cose. Mi sento molto attiva e questo mi fa bene.
I miei progetti lavorativi sono ancora fermi, anzi, si scontrano con indifferenza e difficoltà che tutti quanti stiamo incontrando in questo periodo storico, però non dispero. Credo di essere una persona in grado di adattarsi e superare i momenti complicati.
Solo che... sono stata così impegnata che ho potuto dedicare pochissimo tempo al craft: questa settimana ho solo terminato un primo angiolotto cicciotto per Natale (non ridete... Natale arriva sempre prima e io non sono mai pronta!) vestito di morbidissimo pile bianco e ho iniziato una piccola serie di portachiavi, su ispirazione della sorella che mi ha chiesto qualcosa da appendere alla chiavetta del caffè. Sono 3 modelli: un dolcissimo muffin glassato, una tazzina di caffè (o di the...) e un piccolo gufo arrabbiato. Tutto in feltro colorato, nastrini e stoffa coordinata. Non amo tantissimo lavorare col feltro ma mi sono divertita, alla fine, e il risultato mi piace.
Ah, e ho anche terminato una serie di collane/bracciali sull'onda del momento.. il jungle look. Ne sono molto orgogliosa.
E ieri sera, per un invito a cena, ho sfornato deliziosi muffin alla zucca, ripieni della crema della cheesecake e decorati da una spruzzata di noce di cocco grattuggiata e cannella...


So, another week has gone without almost realizing it!! It has been hard and I am expecting an even harder period ahead, but on the other hand, after so many empty months, I'm finally full of energy to do a lot of things. I feel active, and this is good.
My working projects are experiencing indifference and difficulty, which everyone has to deal with in this historical moment, but I don't despair. I think I am a person able to adapt and survive the complicated situations.
Only that... I was so taken that I could dedicate very little time to craft: this week I only finished a first fat angel for Christmas (don't laugh, please..., Christmas comes earlier every year and I am never ready!), dressed in the softiest white pile and I have started a series of keychains (by request of the Sister, who asked me  for a nice keychain to hang to her coffee key). I have studied three items: a sweet muffin with a lot of icing, a coffee (or tea..) cup and a small angry owl. All made in coloured felt, ribbons and coordinated fabric. Don't love to work with felt that much but I had a lot of fun and I like the result.
Oh, and I also finished a serie of necklaces/bracelets.. with the new fashion trend: the jungle look. Very proud of them.
And yesterday, for a dinner invite from an old friend, I cooked some delicious pumpkin muffins, filled with the cheesecake batter and decorated with a sprinkle of coconuts and cinnamon....
