Elves laboratory (II)

Eccoci con la seconda parte delle mie piccole creazioni natalizie per quest'anno: i folletti grassi.
E' una variazione dell'angioletto ciccione, ma non ha chiaramente le ali.
Il suo vestitino è fatto di caldissimo pile bianco, decorato con un nastro-volant a quadrettini bianchi e rossi o bianchi e verdi e un mega bottone proprio sul pancino a carattere natalizio.
Inoltre indossa un cappello a punta in feltro rosso o verde.


Here we are with the second part of my Christmas crafts presentation: the fat pixies.
It is a variation of the fat angel, but obviously they have no wings.
Their dress is made of the warmest white pile, decorated by a ruffled ribbon in red or green gingham and a big button, right over the belly with Christmas motifs.
They also wear a red or green felt pointed hat.

 A differenza degli angeli e delle bambole che faccio, che hanno tutte (o quasi) i capelli corti, castani e un po' spettinati, i folletti hanno lunghe trecce bionde, che ricordano la loro origine nordica.

Differently from the angels and from the dolls I make, which have all (almost all) short and a bit untidy brown hair, the pixies have long blonde braids which recall their nordic origin.
